40/70 Benchmark
Sounds like what I did 10 years ago. I used to do that until I was about 24....I was in there like 2 nights\week when I was 21-23 (aside from my 6 month Marine hiatus @ age 22).....I owned the Shamrock lol

Some of these bars on a Saturday night our a total cluster fook. You won't be able to hear or talk to anyone.

Cold Miser
Sounds like what I did 10 years ago. Lol- Yes. Also, as noted The Shamrock is not very big. We definitely need a place that doesn't get all loud too. I haven't been in that area in about 5 years so I have no idea what a good place would be for our gathering. I keep hearing The Scoreboard mentioned on either WEEI or The sports hub. Plus Ray endorses it so it has to be good.

TalcottWx
My friend bounces at the Hong Kong on Saturday nights I believe.... Smaller the place the better for me... I look like im 35 but I'm only 20... So a place where I can get in early and pound em back is better... (like the place me ray kevin and will hit back last spring). HIPPYVALLEY
I've got family in Arlington so I'll try to make this one. The Beer Works is also an option. Big and roomy. There is one between N. Station and Faneuil Hall and of course the one over by Fenway.

Lir Irish Pub & Restaurant 903 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02115-3104 (617) 778-0089 lironboylston.com I was wondering if that place would stay a bar. I was working in the Backbay when they were first building that place out in the late 90's (Along with the nearby Planet Hollywood Restaurant down the street). It was quite an expensive task - The circular stair being a fairly pricey, showcase item. I'm pretty sure it started out as an Irish bar back then as well. We used to go in there after work.
