Tropopause_Fold
CQX is down to 2SM. I'm thinking Truro area is doing well right now...relatively speaking....based on radar returns It's coming down at a fair clip where I am right now (Harwich) so that cqx report makes sense
CoastalWx
You can see that bulge west from the winds near 950-850 shifting around to more east. A nice orange look to the clouds out east right now, from my place.

Winds aloft are ne so it will probably hug the shore for a time I think.

CoastalWx
wow..1" in wellfleet already Yeah if the TAN radar is detecting that much snow, it's got to be coming down. Interesting that HYA and PVC reporting nothing, but it must be at least -SN there now. Cool stuff man. Enjoy.

dendrite
Looks like CQX was briefly down to 3/4SM. I'd assume this is the type of snow where it's piling up quickly even with 3/4-1SM vis.
hvysnow79
Glad to see the Cape getting some snow, they are left out a lot. I lived there for several years and watched rain fall many times as snow wasn't far away.

Clinch Leatherwood
if the echoes over me are any indication of other areas bustacular. We are coated, i posted the photos elsewhere but it's just a coaitng with mostly very light snow falling. The banding never really got organized tonight more of a uniform area of light flurries. It's 2011 winter...might be the biggest snow I see in the next 30 days.

An old work friend of mine worked in the high school there a couple years back. Some really nice houses overlooking the river in that town! if the echoes over me are any indication of other areas bustacular. But, as always, even a little snow is better than no snow. 11.8/
Tropopause_Fold
not a whole lot here IMBY...looks like about a half inch or something so far with just some flurries right now. 1-2 on the outer cape. hoping these things can organize one time here as the flow goes N then NNW before shutting down. looks wintry for a change.
