JoMo
nded up with about 2 to 3 inches of snow/sleet combo. Model verification for my location : NAM =FAIL GFS = FAIL EURO=PASS *Euro was consistantly calling for 2-3 inches of snow in my area with only 1 or 2 runs not showing that . GFS + NAM numerous times had be 8+ inches until the last 12-18hrs, even then it was for 6" both models. Euro was probably the most accurate from medium range as well. It had some runs farther SE but ultimately it ended up moving back NW.
Uncle Bobby
No sleighs for me, thank you. I am deathly allergic to horses. Like I warned, there's nothing epic about the results of the storm here, but here are the pics nonetheless. I have no clue how anyone would determine snow depth, given that the depth ranges from zero to a few feet in drifts. Note the blue sky in the background! That's looking NW. Typical Colorado. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we have a cloudless sky by dusk.
