MJO812
0z GFS pops a weak low off the coast on New Years. 850's are cold enough but who cares at this time. It has been consistent with a storm around the New Year.
NYCSuburbs
34.5* w/ flurries! yay!!! smh.. There does seem to be some precip in the area... unfortunately temps might be a bit too warm for snow in NYC.

Still has something but does not look as impressive

There should be enough cold air for the area because of the big PNA ridge out west.

As long as the models keep having something, it will be interesting to track.

SBUWX23
How's gfs look for winds After looking at the 00z GFS Bufkit data, 79 kts at 928 mb, 83 kts at 900 mb, about 75 - 80 kts from 800-900 mb at 03z Wednesday as ISP.

mattinpa
wild, wild solution on tonights euro. Not even worth discussing Could you describe just because not many have the Euro? Through hr. 192, it looks warm and inland. Looks more like a Miller B, right? Edit: it's colder by hr. 216, but I am not sure what that low is doing! Edit: it's colder by hr. 216, but I am not sure what that low is doing! its a cutoff low bonanza from chicago to the the mid atlantic which then gets absorbed into the PV. Crazy. I think we should call this storm a Miller C on tonights run because ive never seen a model run like this We dont get snow but the ridge out west is pretty awesome
earthlight
The Euro looks like it might offer some light snow away from the coast for a period of time at 132 hrs.

Come on posters, no way you can let that guy out of the box. He is one of two people ever to be timed out by earthlight. That in itself should make him automatic winnter.
