At least you are not an Anti Natalist.  I did read that New Yorker article you cited some time ago.  Makes pessimism seem like Pollyanna.  I am primarily Buddhist-Advaitist, and that helps.  Even Christianity, if you filter out the anti semitism and anti sexuality.  Jesus was not a Christian, after all.  But I do go on . . .

Meanwhile, I feel better running the gas heat.  CO2 is better than Methane.  Lol.

Oh - I was just joking.  Sorry about that. 

Methane is many times more potent as a greenhouse gas, as you know, so I was making an ironic joke.

  It's all bad, which is your point, of course.

You know, as a kid, we burned coal gas, which was part H2 and part CO.  Gasp.  Kept the house warm overnight by burning kerosene.   Lots of house fires too!
