moneypitmike
Light dusting here in Lenox with off and on light snow showers and flurries. We're getting some light upslope stuff courtesy of that lake effect moisture reaching us, but unlike N VT we're not really getting any wrap around moisture from last night's storm. Everyone from Jay Peak, Stowe, Smuggs, MRG, etc. are getting absolutely destroyed right now. Some 35+ dBZ echoes from upslope snow up there, which is probably about 2"+ per hour. That's awesome--maybe some salvaging of Christmas week. Just some weenie flakes here in the midst of a brisk sunny afternoon. 28.6/

moneypitmike
Here's a question-- With the CAA seemingly very strong, why is there such difficulty for it to get beyond the the slope? Seems that it has not penetrated east or south much at all. It has finally started making a little progress, but west of the valley, we've been below freezing since late morning (or earlier). 25.9/

It is nice having the flakes outside and seeing some accum at 1800. Also, it's nice to have a good CAA.
