17 here. Does it seem that the cold has been overperforming lately? We are only supposed to get to 18-20 tonight but it has dropped quite a bit. Forecast now calling for frzr and snow in the morning followed by rain in the afternoon...little or no accumulation of snow or ice.

Clouds are streaming in now. We got a little radiational cooling in advance of them. Not a huge deal imo.

Dew Point now starting to rise quickly and the light north wind has now gone se at the haciend, earlier today the dew was 10 its now up to 22 and rising quickly, the marine taint and southerly flow cant be far behind, I expect temps to be near 50 in the morning............YAY

That's about par for the course this year...Can't believe how many mornings I've woken up to 45 or higher.

Hanging onto a 36 here, but we're further away from the bathtub than you...

Yep, radiational cooling means absolutely nothing in the face of atmospheric change, nothing. The progression of the surge of warmth tomorrow up and into ski country will suck....

I checked out the websites of SKi butter nut in MA-pathetic-8 trails open and no snow other than what's on the trail...next two days will really hurt. Wonder if the CT places are even open?

Place where I work as a supervisor over break is closed tomorrow and Thursday.

Interesting drive today. Left at 630 AM for Littleton, NH to grab a new car. Was 36 or so here when I left. Got down toward BDL and car thermo was reading 45!! Got up toward Springfield, back down to 42 or 41. Greenfield, 36 or so. Brattleboro...about 32. St. Johnsbury...roughly 26. Littleton was sitting at 23 at noon!

Amazing the difference between here and there. Snowcapped/rimed Whites...-SN from upslope enhancement all over the place.

Unfortunately, I had to come back to CT...Everytime I leave this godforsaken state I never want to come back. :(

On that note, 28 here now.

Yes, I understand that....I don't think it changes much about the event tomorrow except perhaps more frozen and glaze on the front end given how cold air gets trapped here. But in the larger frame, our lows during this substantial cold snap have been lower than what was projected coming into the cold snap, yes?

19.5/16 here.

Crisp night, p. cloudy.

They live in the white house with Grey shutters right across from Meadow lane on Colrain rd. What kind of

dog do you walk

I think I know the place. We walk that route less in the winter. She looks like a little yellow coyote or Dingo.

(Carolina Dog) about 40lbs, found in the woods of Alabama and shipped north to be saved from the kill shelter.
