nope, back home at the fun place!

Norfolk meso reading 11*F. Truly the icebox of CT up there

Hmmm...My Union Meso station is reading 10°. You should do some exploring up there...I think you'd find it very comparable to Norfolk, just not as snowy, but comparable. It's also the smallest town in the state with about 700 people and there's over 50,000 acres of forest in the area with lots of lakes and hiking trails.

Nice cold morning out there...morning low was 12° here. Coldest temp since early March!

Low of 11.8 here. Just a great morning and makes me yearn for winter. At least we got one cold day. This may be our coldest morning/day of the winter.

Beautiful morning Kevin, heading out for a walk with our little guy while Claire is at Sunday school, this is our winter today, from here its all down hill. Pitchers and catchers in @45 days, days are getting longer.............spring is just around the corner, best spring ever almost here!

Yeah left only .5", but all snow is welcome. :) ALB speculated it could have been Champlain effect on a north wind that was then thrust west into the Helderberg Escarpment.

It looks like the low was 9F here. I haven't left the bedroom yet to check the "official" thermometer.

That came in overnight, Rick? Nice score! Looks like we may have a kind of wintry feel (if not look) today.

Just went out to get more wood. Surprised to discover a breeze. I can always tell it's been a good night of CAA when I can have a light breeze and manage to have the Pit as one of the cooler spots in SNE.

11.9/1.

Enjoy sneaking a peek at the rose garden across the street all winter

LOL, everything is dead. Looks like 20.3 for the low here actually. Lots of clouds kept it up a bit, but still it appears no flakes since the October storm. Unbelievable. Maybe a missed a weenie flake or two while I was sleeping.

Well, our last shot at anything is from maybe the 23rd or so through the 27th. That's when we get a decent ridge out west and a possible wave or two developing along the East Coast. It still could be a flat piece of crap or end up coming too close and giving us a mess...but it's the only chance we have.

Hopefully we can salvage some winter later in January.
