Paweatherguy1
hopefully you guys can squeeze out an 1" or 2 , but moisture seems a little limited. I'm a little worried about that up here and most areas in general. I'll be honest...not even sure we get that much.
djr5001
Getting wet snow here now and 37 degrees. The rain/snow line on the radars is about 1 county off. It says I should still be rain but I've switched. most radars base the colors on surface temps so you can't really rely on if it says it is snowing or raining at a certain location
NeffsvilleWx
Down to 994 even, now dropping at 1 mb/hr. Don't have a Davis, but I use it heavily. Between school and work, I'm away from home for 16 hours a day, so I've bookmarked my site to my iPhone's home screen. All records and data accessible from just about anywhere. Invaluable. Santa Clause
Feeling like most of cpa stays 80% rain...wpa may have isolated 3 or 4 inch amounts though.
MAG5035
Intellicast radar working the changeover into higher Somerset county mountains, would imagine places like Seven Springs is starting to changeover. Continuing to get hammered by heavy rain here in the central counties. Trying to figure out whats really driving the enhancement, as we had a pretty hefty area of rain blossom in the same general area before this primary shield. Central counties are right in the left exit quadrant of the jet max as per SPC mesoanalysis which could be providing a bit more lift.
stormspotterlive
Rain changing over to snow in Pittsburgh on the Penn Lincon parkway looks to be moderate on cameras. state college my best guess is would change over by 1:30am.

PottercountyWXobserver
This batch of precip was modeled horribly, at least for up here anyways. This batch wasn't suppose to be rain to snow, but rather all snow. Heck even the NWS has all snow for the forecast tonight!

WPA was counting on that heavy precip that came through to be at least some snow...none of it was. We might be looking at an inch now. What a disgusting winter. Blizzard92
All guidance indications pointed to a majority of the QPF to be rain before ending as a bit of snow. Everything so far tonight is going right according to plan.

stormspotterlive
Looks like the rain to snow is as modeled however with that 300mb jet really going to town and orographic lifting the amount and intensity along the I99 corridor was under modeld between that band earlier and the current one someone may come close to 0.75 to 1 inch QPF
