EasternUSWX
NAM still not buying the little wave. More of just rain along front on nam. But we seen how off the name was with the it is going to snow idea so until supported will be ignored. However since not showing snow probably right this time. lol
Santa Clause
Going out on a limb and saying little to no accumulation of snow anywhere in CPA this week. Thinking it's a pretty solid limb too
EasternUSWX
Going out on a limb and saying little to no accumulation of snow anywhere in CPA this week. Thinking it's a pretty solid limb too Ah I would not say that. Johnstown, State college, Altoona and other areas are going to get some decent lake effect and squalls with and after the front Thursday night- Saturday probably. hckyplayer8
How can a second deformation band develop when the triple point and all the dynamics are hundreds of miles to the NE? That's pretty intense rates for just extra lift from the ULL.
Santa Clause
Gfs is clearly lost.

PSU8315
While the GFS might be a bit overdone for Friday morning, when there is that much energy on the table, interesting things can happen. That is one hell of a vort max.

EasternUSWX
wow...windy day friday. doubting that little blob of snow comes to fruition though. All models have it. It is like the upper level low situation in 2011 that dropped 8-11" of snow. We could have areas of thundersnow overnight Thursday and Early Friday. Bonus is we know for a fact we won't have to worry about rain with -10 850s lol.
