Welp, Sheetz run turned into nearly needing to pull over cuz it was snowing so hard coming back. Absolutely insane, I left with probably about a half inch or so on the ground and came back and just measured 2.5" of fluff. So in the 25-30min i was gone.. it snowed probably 1.5-2 inches.

Drive back

No I am home from college and in Greencastle :( Ship looks to take a direct hit. Once again I hate Greencastle. lol

Still some streamers coming my way from the west.

Ahh bummer, I'm surprised at how well this is holding together as it moves southeast. Looks to least get to the turnpike, and if it does...could get really dicey. But yea, bands are starting to setup a bit more southwest in the Laurels and may eventually try to work something over. Theres also now a more established Huron connected band around Erie that may eventually take better shape as well.

Squall aftermath:

I don't know how cause radar shoes like 5 dbz but i have light snow here. It is so nice to see snow. Glad I did not go to sleep.

Radar beam is probably overshooting the light snows down toward where your at. CTPs beam at Greencastle is at like 6700ft and LWS is at about 4200ft. Having the same problem watching the Huron connected band near Erie..which is likely pretty strong. Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh's radar are all either overshooting or not seeing it very well. End of the band starting to show up on CTP's radar though up in Dubois. Look for that one to eventually line itself to go thru the Laurels and perhaps reach further east.

Ya all the HI res models bring that through here in the MID to late AM.
