WTF happened to old hardcore DT that actually provided some great insight to things and would say "The model shows a storm, but the pattern and setup begs to differ."

R.I.P DT...just a shell of his former self.

I've only been following this dope for a little while via facebook but it's unending hilarity as I see it.

***ALERT!!!*** ***HONK HONK*** *I SAID "ALERT"!***

***I HAVE NO GUY PARTS!!*** ***LOL!***

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Margusity weighs-in...

Euro model is garbage for next week. NO major storm is coming as depicted on the model. NAO too positive, PNA going neutral.

I agree.....Dave used to be a weenie buster. If you disagreed with him and said a storm was coming, he'd give you 11 reasons why it wouldn't and then say he was going to bang your cow dyke mom. That's the old-school DT.

Wait to you see the latest Euro. It's ridiculous.

Extreme much? Geez.

However..... with the MJO phase where it is, I would put more eggs in the Euro, JMA and GEM baskets than the GFS. There will likely be a storm along the coast early next week, contrary to what the GFS has.

That Euro is pretty lol-worthy indeed. I guess it's somewhat interesting the CMC tries the same thing with that storm today. Both solutions would be a pretty cold storm for us as it taps an actual arctic air mass. No idea how DT gettin 12-24 up in northern New England, the storm cuts in so sharply that it is one of those cases its raining in eastern/northern New England with the bulk of their precip while its snowing south, and it does crack all of PA good. Not necessarily writing it off... but not buying it at this time, unfortunately I think that crappy 12z GFS run might be closer to reality given the insistence of the NAO forecast to remain in a higher positive state. CTP not buying it either, I think the long range person says it best today.

MODELS ALSO AGREE ON ANOTHER SHOT OF MOISTURE MOVING THROUGH LATE

SUNDAY INTO MONDAY AHEAD OF AN ARCTIC AIRMASS TO MOVE IN FOR THE

MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. AS WE MOVE INTO THAT TIMEFRAME...SIGNIFICANT

MODEL DIFFERENCES EXIST.

THE ECMWF BRINGS A SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM NORTHWEST FROM THE

ATLANTIC COAST WELL INTO PENNSYLVANIA BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

HOWEVER...THE GFS HAS THE REGION IN COLD NORTHWEST FLOW WITH SOME

OF THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON CLIPPING NORTHEAST PA WITH ONLY

RESULTANT LAKE EFFECT BRINGING SNOW TO THE AREA.

LACK OF SNOW BEGETS LACK OF SNOW. HUGE STORMS IN THE 5-7 DAY RANGE

FIZZLING BEGETS HUGE STORMS IN THE 5-7 DAY RANGE FIZZLING. IT`S THE

TREND OF THIS WINTER SO WILL HOLD OFF ON ANY BELLS...OR

WHISTLES...AT THIS POINT.

lol not a forcast but he's pretty off on the totals...boston, ny, philly all would go over to rain verbatim from the euro. unless he was saying if it's all snow those are the totals, he's pretty off on that map.

The map shouldn't even be allowed to be posted on AmericanWx, I'm going full out troll mode on the models until I see it on the ground in front of my eyes.

Winter 2011-2012 Lyrics

Here I sit witty

upon my porch

Clear, sunny and fifty

resembles a torch

Once a pimp with model lust

turned to dunce

with a forecast bust

Damned by the Euro, occasionally the NAM

constantly abused and even rammed

Most hail the GFS

Some say the Ukie, but only

Bums who like big piles of dookie

CMC burns like a stinging pee,

from a contracted STD at the DMV!

This winter is so bad I wouldn't mind being drafted,

anything is better than being maimed, beaten, and shafted!

Hahaha here is something I thought of out of model anger and winter so far lol, hope you guys like it :):pimp:
