Merry Christmas all.

Got a bomb on our hands.

Like the sound of light snow down the spine of the Apps.

NYS is ground zero for this one.

I sure hope this can bomb out maybe 12 hours earlier. That would get a lot of us in on the action...right now as it stands Western PA looks good for least a couple inches of wind driven snow.

On the doubtful meter, I label that a 8 out of 10. Not enough blocking built into the Davis Straits for this thing to reach maturity over our heads.

I doubt I see any snow, but everybody through the Laurels and throughout true CPA stand a very good chance of wrap around snow showers/light snow.

This sucks. I've been trying to get my roof and window leaks fixed for SIX WEEKS and every time they have me scheduled it rains. They were supposed to be here at 11 but yeah it's been raining for 30 or sp minutes already. Tomorrow and Thursday look to be too windy to do it too.

I hate Mother Nature this year. She's been evil to a lot of people.

We had some sleet at the onset in Altoona - now 36 with a cold rain that is coming down at a good clip. Looks like we have some bright-banding between Route 22 and the Turnpike right now.

Yeah, it's all rain now. Wonder if we can eek out an inch here when it changes over.

I can really sense your excitement!

I treasure every splatter.

I think you can. The upslope/lake-effect looks decent behind this, so an inch is in reach, although the best accums will probably be from Philipsburg west. All depends on where the most persistent snow showers are.
