Each composite is made up of 15 events for that type of weather to get a good sample size. 1) 12 inch or greater NYC snowstorm 2) 6 inch or greater NYC snowstorm 3) 1 inch or greater rainstorm 4) Record low temperature 5) Record high temperature Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately, number 5 looks like the closest analog so far in December In fact, I was just making a comment in another thread regarding the forecasted height anomolies in the NH and I was saying that we need to see a much stronger gradient oriented north-south to really see some signs of blocking.
