Actually I just literally took a gander about 10 seconds ago. And yes, even the once-snowy NAM has virtually none for I-95.

I am now more excited about sleeping with the windows cracked open tonight (with temps. in the lower 60s), rather than the thought of any snow tomorrow night.

I think I'm gonna bust on the high side everywhere except AC and maybe Tobyhanna.

We haven't received an e-mail from Mike2010, off today don't know if he phoned it in. There is another observer from Dresser Hill at about 2,200 feet that e-mails us from time to time. I think this is pretty close to the highest point in Monroe County or at the least the highest housing development in the county.

I would agree with that. Here is a pic from the rail at the cabin. 4" easy on the rail....and that is long after the snow stopped and in the morning sun, which is now behind the trees.

I posted 4" last night while it was SN+ was still falling. Snowman.gif

Not an official measurement but it provides a sense of it....

What no grill in the picture? ;)

There is an old time NJWO observer who moved to Lake Harmony I think about two years ago. He phones in obs every once and a while too. Maybe after reading this, he'll phone us.

lol

I keep meaning to setup a measuring station, with a yard stick and pad. Then have it take a picture of it a few times per day and post to the wx station site on WxUnder.

That is about how "official" I could make it. Would a grill top count as a flat surface? ;)

The new Cams I am testing are HD. Might start setting them up over the holiday? The time lapse videos are way cool during storms. That camera died this summer, hence the upgrades I am working on.
