moneypitmike
Well you'll probably see a few inches, but it's more dire further east. You're right--I should quit bitching about things. But it's tough when things fall so far short of anticipation. I now have an appreciation of the woes of Kevin and Ray. In fact, I may have realized that repeated delays/failures in change overs and repeated bouts of pinging may lead one to become compulsive about their lawns and the cleanliness of their cars. Makes me want to grab a trash bag right now and start picking up the old Hostess cupcake wrappers, spilled Funyuns, empt Dunkin' Donuts coffee cups......eh screw it. I'll get some snow instead. 39.8/

ORH_wxman
HRRR goes to town for Mike and Pete for about 2 maybe 3 hrs. It actually rips N ORH county...it gives Hubbdave like 4-5" in 2 hours.
Ginx snewx
Yeah, I know, I don't know whats up with that but i wish, Best pressure falls are NE of the current position, very possible this does scoot towards the Cape. I always liked MM5 within 24 hours, we will have to see.
powderfreak
This goes hand in hand with what I did and am doing again at Stowe through UVM and LSC I met a bunch of the LSC met and UVM geog kids last spring doing that... I wonder if we've met?

Ginx snewx
Cool! Looks like an extended period of ski friendly weather coming up your way. It'd be nice to see you guys and either way looking forward to checking out the resort for 3 or 4 days later in the season. Bring your wallet in a suitcase. powderfreak
0z Nam colder up here I noticed that too... it really collapses that mid level cooling quickly as the low nears. I think we'll see a rapid change to snow for a bunch of people all at once later tonight. Lets see how many yards we can whiten tonight
ski MRG
The pattern has gotten to you. No. I've reached the same point with Messenger that ORH did last year. I forget what the dust up was about exactly but Will had an issue with him as well. Glad the HRRR is showing some love.

Clinch Leatherwood
Bring your wallet in a suitcase. It's a one time deal and we'll have to find a place where we can jam a lot into one big condo to make it affordable. Same with Okemo, big money! NAM clown rough map...the 3" line has shrunk in SNE from 12z to 18z and now to 0z but interestingly Will is in on the party as is maybe Jerry later, Ray and maybe Kev. ORH_wxman
pretty significant shift there actually. Yeah with the amount of qpf it is showing between 1-4am for N ORH and Monads...could be a big deal. I'm still going 1-3" just north of here, but there is def an outside shot it goes to town long enough for some 4"+ lollies.
adamrivers
Ummmmm--perhaps should be in the obs thread. But thoughts on this radar shot???? Would appear really heavy rain. Don't really see anything to the contrary....although it is an interesting shot

Thanks--I was worried the apocalypse was on my doorstep. Sort of like the WORST weather movie I ever saw the other day: "Arctic Blast" or some such thing. Just horrible, but funny. Not so funny is that my temp has ticked up to 39.9/39. Not supposed to be moving in that direction.
CoastalWx
NAM goes apesh*t from Pete to Dave on north around 6-7z through maybe 8-9z for the worst.
ORH_wxman
How about west of socks, Will? Maybe half hour earlier for you? The snow line really accelerates eastward once it reaches the Berkshires....it takes forever to move from E NY to the Berks but once it gets there it starts to race eastward. vttaconics
Flipped to snow here just southwest of Rutland, VT after two long hours of 34.2 degree rain. Big parachutes.... heavy.

Get the feeling very strongly that surprises are in order for you and others to your North. Impressive bombing and most impressive UVVs. IDK Will could be a 4-6 paste. I also think MM5 type track with some wraparound gets WCT WMASS . This is starting to become similar to the heavy rain to insta paste storms of old.
