Hailstorm
I know Uncle W posted a thread in the sub-forum about a year ago that showed the individual daily highs and lows for the days in which NYC had its most severe arctic outbreak that spanned a week or two over the past two centuries. However, I cannot find the thread. It would be appreciated if someone can re-direct me to that thread or if someone can post the data from somewhere. Thanks. Hailstorm
Thanks for all the informative posts; but I was mostly interested in the individual day-to-day maximum and minimum temperatures that NYC officially recorded during those historic coldest outbreaks. For example, I remember Uncle W posting the official temperatures for a very cold week last century that was detailed like below: 1/20/34 - High: 24, Low: 8 1/21/34 - High: 16, Low: 2 1/22/34 - High: 12, Low: -4 1/23/34 - High: 8, Low: -10 1/24/34 - High: 7, Low: -12 1/25/34 - High: 11, Low: 0 etc...
