ski MRG
Or perhaps it's a sign that you don't know the difference between sarcastic banter and serious disorder. The day you tell me you're happier that I get a foot of snow while you get 4 inches vs vice versa is the day I set your pants on fire. LOL, glad at least one person gets it. It's just that someone taking this supposed "high road" who is most nights in winter posting at 2 AM during the week may be lliving in a very fragile glass house regarding other people's obsessions....lol... Incisive again. i think most of the regulars here know where everyone stands on everything...and recognize who reacts what way, when, why etc. except hubbdave - he has like 13K posts but i can't tell with him. he never has an FU tone. i do think the current pattern is grinding on some people - probably everyone to some degree. it's bound to happen though when people are passionate about something. it's not a whole lot different than being a Jets fan. imagine living down in NYC and loving the J-E-T-S...dealing with decades of failure, and now having to listen to Sexy Rexy and his empty promises...and then you have the Pats up here...continually dominating, winning year-in-year-out...showing the rest of the NFL how to be a model franchise. It's a similar situation to snow and no-snow. Well crafted arguement. I'm about to go into a snownh/orh tirade if this fu**ing site f**** up another post I try to make. Yesterday I spent 20 minutes responding to MRG about skiis, hit post it vanishes, just respodned to Fella now same thing. Now that's progress. Mainly I blame the mountain people. You guys all saw how deliverance turned out. That wouldn't have happened in the lowlands...those nice folks would have just given them some lemonade. NAM is warmer at least to start. LOL. Looks pretty light in your area LOLx2 Some of those posts last night were rare displays from some posters. But even I am differing from you Pete in that while I want to get snow (snow in a ski town makes for a fun atmosphere), I do not wish others to miss out on snow. I'm less happy if I don't get any, but I still wouldn't wish a whiff just if I can't get it. That's the emotion that reeks of jealousy and makes this board a worse place. As I've been saying, I like when someone gets snow because then this forum is at least seeing some posts and its fun to talk about winter weather. Very similar to what Dendrite was saying. What? When have I ever wished others to miss snow? I said pretty clearly I don't care if another locale gets record snow or no snow. I am concerned primarily with the places I haunt (my area) north. Wishing for others to miss out on snow would anger Ullr and that is something I would never do...... Ok, I have wished for Blizz to flip to pingers once or twice but that was purely for entertainment purposes. Nothing mean spirited.

LOL..I do take a lot of garbage on here..but it's all in good fun overall I guess. I don't know that my area jackpots...but I do feel pretty good about a solid high end advisory/low end warning event..It shouldn't melt too much with highs in the 30s thru the weekend and low sun angle.Given where we've just come from the last month..even a couple inches will be a gift from above.
