CoastalWx
watch, ORH will pull in like 7.1 Even if the NAM were too strong, this would probably be a narrow but moderate event for someone, if you took 70-80% of the NAM. It definitely has that look to bring the goods to someone in a very narrow area IF it came close enough.

Regardless of how this plays, it's fun having the models flipping/flopping wildly.
40/70 Benchmark
That is probably alot of rain, though, Jer.... This pattern is akin to a huge sausage fest of a party and this "event" like the one chick who shows up....guys get drunk enough to ogle her, anyway....despite a few strands of hair conquering the confines of her tank top. Sad state of affairs.

Sad state of affairs. You guys need to upscale your meeting places and that may help the chick situation. Will have no effect on the weather though. Euro was actually pretty hard hitting at zero z. Euro is kicking the rear of the UK with verifications at 72 hours...so I'll stick to whatever the 72h Euro shows.

dryslot
The ensembles also try to develop a low SE of the Cape on Saturday as was mentioned earlier. Maybe another "threat" to watch. Agree

mattb65
I know the caution flags are being thrown left and right but all the 12z guidance so far points towards optimism of a pretty decent moderate SNE hit. Euro pending of course but I'd bet that it's closer to the NAM and GEFS given how the models and ensembles have trended the last few runs not to mention the GFS op tendency to "lose" storms in this time frame. Baroclinic Zone
Back to the discussion. The GGEM is largely a wiff with this 1st system. Looks as though it tries to make the weekend deal a bigger threat but it never fully turns the corner and only clips SNE.
