Fozz
I have no idea about what the setup was, but this storm reminds me of 1/6/2002. That was a major snowstorm in the interior northeast, but I-95 had rain that was expected to change to snow, but didn't work out. The suburbs around here got 1-2" and it came at the very end in a very heavy burst.
Stormpc
Down to 41.2. Had one thunder around 7:30 or so that lasted for about 20 seconds. This is a great little storm. I'll take this over nothing. Any reports of damage with the squall line in Se Va? Coach? Midlo?

Jebman
Final yellow band - If this drops us a few degrees - I suppose we might just squeeze out a few slushy flakes - but it IS kind of mild for snow - upper 30s is tough to get snow, even a wet crappy mix

Ian
I'm usually the one leading the charge not to radar hallucinate and freak out about the back edge, but there is no real silver lining here....the back edge is racing...I don't really see the ULL saving us this time....so I think 11-midnight west to east finish is pretty much it...maybe even over before?....so really the narrative has been that the cold air is arriving too late and that is still the narrative for most of us.....I don't think there will be some huge delay in changover though...once IAD/Tysons goes to snow, DC shouldnt be far behind there's nothing really to hold it back and the vort is ever weakening.. not the best for back-end lovin'. We have been destined to get only a short period of snow.
