RUC sure shows a nice slug of precip moving into southeast Michigan later today. Certainly looks like some decent snow amounts are likely somewhere in there.

Anderson gets some love. Pretty much from Jamestown to Pendleton to Winchester, and north of that line gets some snow (Frankfort to Logansport to Warsaw is the farthest western extent).

Snow has begun to mix with the rain here. fwiw those hrrr maps that show a solid 3-4" in metro-Detroit with a few 4"+ lollipops near Ann Arbor and Monroe...they show the snow commencing around 3pm.

Big ass flakes...quarter to Nickle size. Still snowing -SN but it will sometimes mix with sleet then return to + SN or -SN. The atmosphere is getting really chilly.

Just now starting to get bigger flakes here too. I dont expect sticking to start for a few hours because we might still see some rain mix in for the next 1-2 hours I think. Precip doesnt look to shutoff until around 12-1am. What a change from the morning forecast!

Changeover is going to be too late for much in the way of snow here...maybe an inch. southeast mi into far northeast Indiana looking good for general amounts in the 2-4" range though.

I'm hoping for an inch or two of snow here in Toronto tonight as well. A couple of models are apparently hinting at such a possibility.
