At least moderators now have a thread in which they can remove useless posts from more "constructive" threads and place them in the banter/garbage thread. But what do I know? Its becoming the same thing everyday now, the long range models are showing no major changes. Once we get our first real snowstorm in January (i hope) everyone will starts posting alot in the main threads i think. That's the law of unintended consequences at work. Same fear I have is that if the Banter is removed, so too will be the posters. While it sounds good now to think of how many garbage posts would be eliminated, you might mistakenly take some of the life out of the forums. Talk about a dilemma...
