michsnowfreak
Very potent storm hit the area with strong winds and 36 consecutive hours of precipitation. Some area freeways were closed due to flooding. Imby I have seen 5.90" of precip since Nov 22nd! (2.13" on 22/23, 0.94" on 27, and 2.83" on 28-30). The storm finished up with the seasons first measurable snowfall (0.6"). To this point only a trace had fallen. Heres to 2011-12 picking up right where the snowy 2010-11 left off

michsnowfreak
Had big gloppy flakes of snow fall for several hours. Slop more than anything, but I did snap one pic, and its a little different than most of my snow pics

michsnowfreak
congrats! ur catching up to my 7" oct. hit ha yeah quite a ways too go yet. Im VERY snow hungry, but its just the usual early season anxiety. We are 0.7" to date imby. Last year we were 0.4" to date and ended up with 69.4". In the very snowy regime we are in (snowfall averaging nearly 150% of normal the last 4 years running), still dont usually see too much before mid-December.
