27.5. I've had 3 27's and a few 28's in a supposedly warm month. At least my nights have been getting cold. Plenty cold enough for sleet, if there were some moisture involved. Speaking of which, Goofy is trying to put some light snow into "drought city" Columbia next week. Nothing would scream pattern change more than light snow on the portals, lol. T

Dropped to 28.6 at my home last night. One of the coldest nights of the year and nearly five degrees lower than what FFC forecast.

I had 26.6 when left this morning @ 4am. I don't know if it went any lower, but I did bust the forecast by 6*. I had to spend a few minutes scraping the ice before I left, so I could see out the windows.

Definitely not sure about long range...but geez...you'd think that the 24-48 hour range would be right....woke up to clouds.....cloudy all day here......and now FFC is showing 20% chance of rain on Sunday....BMX to my west shows 30%....Sooo were did that come from???? I was expecting sun and dry weather for the next several days.....this winter has been one big headache....I would hate to be a forecaster and be held to a certain verification standard :bag:

Gfs had that tongue of moisture sticking up the middle of Ga. for a few runs, so the clouds didn't surprise me, and the Sun. band was there a few runs ago. I just think the model is having trouble with this pattern, switching pattern, no pattern, whatever, and can't say when it will rain beyond a few days :) I never did see any drizzle, though there was at least some virga around. Suns out now and has been a while so it's up to 66.2. Tony

just looked at the temps in alaska and the northwest of canada, some very cold air is taking over now and seems to be slowly seeping se. edited to fix the TYPO

Yeah, and even if we don't get the mother load, enough might break off from time to time to cool us down. Enough shots for some timing, even if it is way modified. Sure would like to see a good block set up shop up there. T
