Lee
.60 here so far. Downsloping hurt here but not as much as it did just to our south and east.
tnweathernut
good grief. yep, the models had east and esp. NE Tn in a dryslot thanks to the way this was working out and se winds up the NC side, which equals downslope for your area usually. I think if you go back and look at the runs you'll see that min. zone there. You are exactly right about the depiction of a min zone, but I think the models that I looked at still painted a general half inch, even with the downsloping. Oh well, still a good last two months. Pressure has gone from 1015 @ 5:58 am to 1008.4 now.
NCSNOW
My last day off before heading back to work will be spent getting up a dead oak tree that just subcome to these howling winds. Been a while since I've seen this much wind.
dsaur
congrats on all that rain! Thanks, kind sir! You said it would shift south, and it did. I am now waiting patiently for the Tony's big sleet, lol. I always hate being that close to big zrain, but there it is..... and Jan. is the time for it. Zr that is. Feb is my favorited month for sleet and snow. T

HWY316wx
Wind is really whipping here at the office now. As Lookout said above, yesterday, even on the lake felt more like winter with the biting cold and the moisture.
MotoWeatherman
Sitting at 55.82" for the year here in Dahlonega which will put me about 6-7" below normal for the year.
Gastonwxman
1.01" from this event here for today. Strangely enough, it wasn't the heavy rain that woke me up but the rather gusty winds that have been blowing out here. Max speed of 32 mph so far and with all the weak trees that are still hanging on from the powerful severe weather we had during Spring, it wouldn't take much more to blow those over as well. Monthly total now stands at 3.84" and around 42.00" for the year. Month with the most amount of precipitation was May with 6.36" totaled.

dsaur
The last round of rain just went through. I didnt hear a single rumble of thunder. The winds have calmed down and the sun is about to come out. The winds will probably ramp back up in the 15 minutes or so. How much did you pull in from this system down there? You getting well, too? jrips27
.81 overnight. I was in the dry slot at the beginning of the storm. New weather station worked really well! I'm surrounded by lots of trees and my wind sensor is only about 10-15 feet high (I may move it), but I did manage a 13.6 MPH gust.
