The highs the lows the no it won't, it might, omg it is! A really great storm and a X-mas I will remember for the rest of my life. The SE crew at its finest. That ten days was addicting for me. I guess the pattern we are in now are the ones that make a storm like that in the SE so special.

HWY316wx
Love your stats and work Larry. Thank you for taking the time. And while I'm at it, merry christmas to you and your family. You've been a cornerstone to the southeast forum for longer than I can remember and we would be a lot less fortunate without your contributions. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Met1985
Very low ceiling here. Breezy with a temp of 42. Thinking if these clouds hold and the temp drops down into the 30s we could see some flurries maybe.
MountainMarvel
Finished just shy of 3 inches for this last event. That's over 6 inches for the month, with more on the way this weekend. Not bad. Had a little water seep into the basement last night. That only happens two or three times a year. It's 45 right now, and I'm looking for near freezing by sunrise. Noticed that Sugar Mountain has skiers tonight and is making snow. They survived the rain! All of the high mountains were shrouded in clouds at sunset, which usually means a night of snow. Merry Christmas everyone!
EmersonGA
Currently 33.6 here with a nice frosty Christmas Eve morning. Cold enough for a fire to give the heater a break. On another note all these people with grass still growing: are yall growing rye or something. My bermuda and fescue are as dead as a doornail. Now i do have some wild onions popping up. Solak
Got quite a bit colder than forecast over this way this morning. Forecast low of 37 - we had several hours at 32 and a touch of frost. Lookout
Thanks, Lookout. Merry Christmas to you and your family. It goes without saying how much you've contributed, including you being a moderator, something I don't see myself being able to perform well. I evaluate and handle numbers (and ice cream) way better than people's interactions. So, I appreciate your years of moderating greatly. A side note about my Xmas stats: it doesn't appear KATL will have a 54+ avg. this Xmas. Therefore, they're technically moot as far as predictions for a major KATL winter storm this winter are concerned. Thank you so much Larry. I really appreciate the kind words...but I am sincerely appreciative of your contributions over the years as well (and I'm sure i speak for everyone when I say that. You have taught us so much and it's people like you that make this board so great.

Yeah it seems around here they cant ever get the lows right with good radiational conditions they are always 3-6 degrees too high you would think they would have learned by now.... Our forecasted low was 34 its currently 30 and the low was 28.....
Tacoma
Yea looks like it snowed outside this morning the frost is so heavy on the ground and rooftops. Blue Ridge
Freezing fog coated everything rather evenly. Reminds me of how the ground looked last Christmas. A few token flurries are falling, at the rate of about 10 per minute. I suppose that means I've officially seen snowfall two consecutive Christmases. 34.3°F. AcworthWx
If only it was 15-20* colder, currently 44.7, I would have some flakes to play in. I will admit this is better than a Torch though. Hopefully this is the start of things to come.
