MotoWeatherman
Thanks everyone! I just wish it would have snowed that hard for longer than 2 min. LOL. Too bad most of you upstream are just going to get rain. Personally I don't like ULL for snow as too many people get shafted (I was all rain in March of 2009) and the boundary layer is almost always an issue. Maybe if I "cash in" on an ULL snow I will feel differently. But with this situation anyone who does see any flakes outside of the mountains should feel lucky as it's not often to get snow on the south side of a ULL around these parts. LiQuiDBuD
Very small flakes but fairly heavy. Nothing on radar really, I guess orographic lift wringing out the moisture.
Local Yokel Wx
Flurries with intermittent light snow at work in Clyde, NC at Haywood Comm. College. Jackson County is really doing well. Looks like we are on track with light accumulations coming in.
dsaur
I ended up with a total of .64 Currently it's 43 deg under mostly cloudy skies Way to go! You beat me this time. Still sitting on a half inch. Had snow on radar right up to my door step, then poof, via too light a drizzle into too warm air. Not enough drizzle to add to the gauge. 37.7 T
Local Yokel Wx
Finally WCU in Cullowhee is reporting snow. Gotta love that little thermal valley, lol. Whether its there or not there is something about WCU and their snow screw zone. As Cold Rain would say, they must have some anti snow shields up. joshuaincharlotte
Some of my friends have told me that it's sleeting in Walhalla, SC. (FYI - I live in Charlotte but have been working in Kazakhstan for the past few months....river is frozen here...earliest in a long time that most can remember. I know the Eurasia snow cover helps winters in the USA..or something like that).
Snowless in Carrollton
We had a rain/snow mix around 7am this morning. Didn't stick but it was nice to see. It's the first time I've ever seen snowflakes in November.

I am seeing pics of a half inch accumulation in Cashiers and Highlands. Looking right on par for them to get an inch or two. Also, hearing above 3k ft in Maggie its starting to pile up; 2". audioguy3107
Had mostly rain on the way to work here in Flowery Branch (south Hall County). May have been one or two flakes mixed in, but you'd really have to squint to see 'em. Temp was 37 at 8:30 AM.
Gastonwxman
Currently down to 40 here with a nice low dark cloud deck. Might eek out a few flakes of snow with the light showers as that small batch of precipitation pivots northeast toward my area.
Lowpressure
We have actually cooled back off a bit, back down to 45.7 after hitting 47.2. No big deal, but MUCH cooler than yesterday.

dwagner88
Saw nothing but rain in the valley this morning, so I drove up Lookout Mountain. There is about 1-1.5 inches of accumulation above 2000 ft., but not on the ground. Even at that elevation the ground was too warm, and the snow really only stuck to roofs, trees, cars, etc. Temp up there was 34 degrees. It was 40 downtown. NEGa
looks like the magic number from people who drove was about 2000 to see snow and/or get a dusting. i am about motos elevation (at home not work) and apparently we just missed by a couple hundred feet hopefully we will have other chances this year its stopped again, so i guess we had what, 90 second snow shower lol

dsaur
I am content. I was just out on the mower cutting up the latest leaves when I drove through a fusillade of mini sleets.
