nrgjeff Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Pattern appears transitory due to the MJO, which actually has some impact this year. Once the Southeast experiences a couple, maybe 3 at the max, colder than normal weeks the ridge looks to return just a bit. When the MJO gets out of cool phases 1-2, the 3-4 should knock down that GOA ridge and promote a return of mild air from Texas into the Southeast. Until then, some snow for NC ski areas?
