The Tropics/Mayan Ruins from a Carribbean Cruise

Recommended Posts

Went on a Western Carribbean Cruise Nov 13-20. The cruise was a lot of fun, the scenery gorgeous, but the weather was just TOO hot. It was near 90 and HUMID like you wouldnt believe. Way worse than a summer heatwave in MI. The sun also is way hotter, it feels like its RIGHT there. Being in the heat all day really sapped my energy so i didnt party NEARLY as much as I planned to at night. Some people were having heat issues yet the locals insisted this is "cold" for them, coolest time of the year. When we landed in Miami it was 72 and breezy (nighttime) and the locals had sweaters and hoodies. LOL I could never ever EVER live in a climate like that. It was neat coming home to leave Miami and see a sea of green than 2.5 hours late land in Detroit and see a sea of brown trees. Sorry, its November....as beautiful as it was, I was so happy to get back! The tropics in my eyes can be summed up in 4 words "unbelievably beautiful...totally unlivable".
