chapelhillwx
Back to all snow here, too! I hope I can go back over... I woke up at 6:30 and haven't actually seen any fall. Roads got covered almost instantly though. I'd say there's about as much on the road as on the deck!

Jet Stream Rider
For those interested in road conditions in the triad, this link seems to be reasonably up to date with the latest traffic conditions. http://www.digtriad....cu1XdwGnlyic%3D Thanks! I'm trying to decide if its better to go now or two hours from now. Maybe not much difference.

AshevilleDon, Whats it like in Buncombe? 34.8 imby. up from 26.4 at 3:00 AM. Kids are out of school for the 6th day already this year. We are never the big winners in this type of event up towards Weaverville. More of a escarpment deal. We got about .01 of fzr & sleet last night about 11 ish. Congrats to all those that are the big winners! http://www.citizen-times.com/article/20101216/NEWS01/101216003

UNCCmetgrad
31.5 IMBY with freezing drizzle. very light glaze in everything. Had about 0.03in precip but some of that could still be frozen in the gauge. Doesn't look like it really snowed at all here. If it did it wasn't enough to accumulate.
