Gastonwxman
We could possibly be looking at a Round 2 of precipitation for parts of southern NC/Upstate SC. Another band developing in extreme NE GA appears to be on the move due east and holding together. I would watch this one closely to see what lies ahead down the road. Not sure what form the precipitation will be in, but I'm guessing more ice with some flakes mixing in. Thoughts on this, anyone? http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=gsp&product=N0R&loop=yes
WeatherNC
For the hallucinators, hoping to wake up to dendrites, but given the obs and trends upstream, this will likely be IP. Kind of sucks as the now-casting has begun, two slugs coming through, second in the liquid form and heavier. Schools are open for business at 7:40 am here in Pitt County. valid 1:53 am EST
MillzPirate
i think both pitt county schools and ecu are going to be in for a rude awakening.... very tough spot for ecu with final exams going on

WeWashWindows
I've been listening to the Anderson area South Carolina Highway Patrol.. they're swamped with wrecks from icy roads. We haven't seen that much precipitation yet either. Probably going to be a difficult drive in the Upstate in a few hours.
