I think Tom is just temporary with his GF here or has it become permanent with him moving in? If so he never asked if its ok it to invade my/redsky's area ;).

If he is permanent I'll have to be more accurate with snowfall measuring and not fluff up my numbers otherwise he may drive over to verify ;)

edit: just saw Tom has locaton as Qtown so it must be permanent? congrats Tom!

Just stay in the boro ;).

Looks like Quakertown is the new "Manayunk"........should work out well for the upcoming snowstorm when Quakertown racks up 10 inches of snow while PHL goes from snow to rain. :yikes:

What you should have asked is: where is his weather station!

Great,, now that tom left Drexel Hill, i'm gonna be forced to do all the reporting here. Time to make my own snowboard. Who knows, maybe even a Davis Vantage pro..Him moving is gonna cost me money!! ..

Speaking of spending money  , we really don't have that many CoCoRahs observers in Delaware County and for some reason Monroe County, any that are willing to volunteer, we (among other agencies) would appreciate it!

It can snow with a bl a little warm; GFS 2m temps aren't the best indicator at this range either.

Taken verbatim, that sounding shows rain. Maybe a few mangled flakes. Just sayin'.

At this point I wouldn't bet on any snow, or even hope for any. Let what may come, come. No use getting downhearted when it doesn't happen.

I think the BL temps are the least of our concerns right now. Let it take a good track with a source of cold air and we could be in business. That timeframe is the one to watch the most, and no, it's not a certainty. But good to track.

the fact the Euro hasn't shown this at any point the last couple of days is probably a bigger concern.

the fact that the euro has a 1032 high over maine and temps and bl issues are warm says alot. Also the fact it has a weak/perfect storm track for this weekend and its rain says how ****ty this pattern is.

The ridge is better for the post-Christmas storm. Right now it's best to not count on it, but we have SOME hope.
