I didn't know there was a weather bulletin board on the world wide web in '97, but being as entrenched in USENET as I was, I never really bothered to look. EasternWX popped up on my radar around 2003; I joined but already being a member on another board, I rarely used it. In a short while, after forgetting my user ID and password, I basically just forgot about the whole site until years later when I re-joined. (For those not familiar with USENET, one may think of it as the precursor, not to the internet itself of course, but to sites like this.
