Lurked at WrightWeather in the early 2000s. Joined Eastern around 2004ish as Constable. Also posted on StormVista, but those forums are no longer operational. Joined Americanwx from inception as Cold Rain.

I didn't know there was a weather bulletin board on the world wide web in '97, but being as entrenched in USENET as I was, I never really bothered to look. EasternWX popped up on my radar around 2003; I joined but already being a member on another board, I rarely used it. In a short while, after forgetting my user ID and password, I basically just forgot about the whole site until years later when I re-joined.

(For those not familiar with USENET, one may think of it as the precursor, not to the internet itself of course, but to sites like this. I believe it still remains architecturally as an invisible substructure and we (fortunately) no longer interface directly with it.)
