dryslot
Wow, 8-14 in the point. Looks like maybe 12 on this graphic. I'd take 4" and run, actually. Its going to rip here 1-3"/hr rates, Looks like its all snow here after last nights runs.. Lowest temps of the season last night, We bottomed out at 17.2F.. moneypitmike
As this temp gradient shifts north, I think we'll see a nice alignment with the border between the advisories/warnings vs. none.

moneypitmike
Here's a question probably not unrelated to the storm......the forecast is for mostly sunny skies today, yet' it's heavy overcast. What's up with that?
CoastalWx
Told him that last night, He is still dreaming about it... That little tick south probably gets them close to the sweet spot..Either there or just north perhaps, but we'll see what 12z does.

moneypitmike
QPF? Believe you me--QPF is the last of my concern here. But what is with the clouds now?

dryslot
QPF? Yeah, Its not bad here as well, Looks to be around 13", I am thinking of going to go with 10-14" for here after looking at the 12z model run today if they hold serve

Logan11
Didn't BOX and PWM coordinate at all in southern NH. I'm looking at the point forecasts and you go from no snow accumulation in the BOX zones to a warning once you cross the county lines. Then ALB has an advisory immediately to the west in Windham County. I'm thinking 12z shifts everything 60 miles south.
CoastalWx
I'd probably peg N of Bridgton where the foothills are. Maybe the Stoneham area. Yeah I could see just north too. I kind of like the area I mentioned yesterday, but it shifted south a bit overnight. Either way they will get hit hard.

mahk_webstah
Congrats--hope you had a nice time in England. When will the new SREF's be available? London is always fantastic....vibrant city great food....love it there and I get there at least 6 times a year. I don't know the SREF schedule yet...not in winter mode yet! Although I should be as we are looking at our second major storm already. lol
CoastalWx
The thing that is different about this one imo, is that there isn't going to be much of a dryslot into NNE at all. The reason is that H7 and H5 sort of try and redevelop to the southeast, instead of flying ne like in most swfe. So as a result, you might see a comma head type feature into areas like interior Maine. That's what will make for some very high totals I think. mattlacroix4
What a fall..above average almost everyday, but two huge snow storms. I am Concord, NH this week for Thanksgiving, where it looks like I will be on an incredible gradiant location setting up right over me for heavy snow or heavy rain. I would rather be home in Standish, ME for this one, where 10-14 looks likely.
