Wine is empty :arrowhead: but plenty of scotch and beer, having a holiday party friday so will stock up later this week, I love how you think

Yea our bar got smoked this weekend by the hordes. Went for a Jameson to relax tonight, uh gone, ended up with a rum and Pumpkin Egg Nog.

Lost my taste for beer lately, in winter mode. Cold beer in the heat, whiskey in the cold although I guess this fall could have stayed with beer goggles.

Hope so, back to average Thursday at least. Could see squalls for the weekend. It's a start. Week 3 can improve, hope so. Great game Pats and Eagles.

"Ah the power of perspective" says the former MarknPhilly...

I do have carrots lettuce and kale still growing under a plastic hoop thing, although their growth rate sucks. Cloudy all day here and low to mid 40s. 1-2 inches of snow on about 75% of my property.

Philly disaster, beat my Jints last week though. My other team the Raiders are playing better.

I cut the fields very late (mid October) due to the impossible wetness most of the latter Summer and Fall. They showed little or no green up after cutting despite the mild wx. I guess we have had enough hard freezes to mitigate that....17F being the lowest last week and a 20F around early November.

The lawn has quite a bit of dull green etc., but clearly has been hit with many hard freeze and taken numerous hits. I can't imagine people still cutting their lawns.

The mums are dead --died at some point while I was in Europe.

But all that being said....its been disgustingly mild most days (excepting the three cold days last week). 55 out there now!

I'm in the immediate Boston area and have seen no blooming. Lawns are green and old flowers are often not yet dead but I've seen nothing new. Euro ensmebles at least out to d 10 looked great to me.

You can't have 3 teams Steve....that's like immoral or something.

The Iggles are a disastah this year. After Game 3 I was like "I just don't like this team....there is no leader". It is a weird situation as Andy Reid usually fields a good team. But he can be very boneheaded and that is showing this year.

I truly detest the Jints, even more than the Cowboys.

The more snow, the less I worry about football.

My grandmother lived in Oakland went to a playoff game in 69 out there , fan ever since.

Makes sense

I grew up in Foxboro so was a Pats fan since a youngun

Of course they mostly sucked when I lived there. Worked 1 season hawking cokes and dogs when there were only 15k in the seats. Biggest crowd was against the Giants

I watch pro teams on tv "for free" sometimes such as the Yankees. But I'd never drop a cent on attending a game, etc. The greed in pro sports (athletes and owners) and the ridiculously inflated prices for games, concessions, etc. No thanks..... And on top of that most of them have held up the local governments for aid, tax breaks etc. to build these new stadiums.

Yeah, but they are a ton of fun. I don't go to many because of the price, but the atmosphere of a professional sports game can't be topped. You defintely should go if you can, especially with a couple of other fans.

Gillette was built by the Krafts mobey. Govt funds used to fix up Rte 1 only and it has paid for itself

I go to a game now and then but it us so overpriced.

We used to get free Patriots tix, last game I went to the ticket was $125 face value (friend has season tix)

First Sox game I went to was $2 (bleachers - Dewey got beaned)

I prefer tv/couch

I know I mentioned it before, but I can try to get face value on tickets for a Sox game for maybe 5-6 people. We should try next year.
