nzucker
We've lost all our snow cover in Rindge....hit 57F today. Played tennis in shorts and a t-shirt.
ski MRG
Well it's pretty ridiculous outside. In my travelings I saw people sitting outdoors drinking wine and roses in bloom. Never saw that in my life, this time of year. my honeysuckle and forsythia are in bloom, and my potentilla shrubs are in full leafout...def not your average end of fall pattern Are you guys serious? Flowers blooming? You must be kidding. What a different climate.lol The high of 57.2 really sucked. But as has been noted, the change is right around the corner. Meanwhile, I will repost this picture of earlier today as it's the only snow we've got--until next weekend I hope. My 6-year old shed the fleece she was wearing on this walk and insisted on a t-shirt. 48.9/38 The snow held on here at the house though it did get warm. I can't believe the eastern flatlanders have flowers blooming. That's fookin' crazy.
Ginx snewx
Yeah, good stuff. I had a great live recording of them from 1973 - Paul's Mall in Boston i believe, sounded like a different band back then. Heavy, heavy blues. I was probably there seen them over 60 times, was a groupie, lots of Cape Cod trips.

mahk_webstah
Came home from Jersey today. 5 miles north of Concord snow patches appeared and another 7 miles or so at my house there is 2" on the ground. Kinda wintery....

NECT
December 1998 saw temps in the 70's. I remember because my first kid was born and my wife wanted to wrap her up in a million layers for the trip home. I told her it was warm out, and she told me I was nuts. The nurses convinced her it was actually stupid warm out. Winter will come eventually.
Ginx snewx
Sneaky cold tonight, at an indoor toys for tots fundraiser softball tourney all nighter. Interesting game indoors, crazy bounces off the turf. It's cold out. Feels great. Looking forward to Dec thru April with chances always looming. Euro ENS looking pretty sweet. CoastalWx
I drove through some of the most dense fog that I've ever seen. You could only see maybe 200' in front of you, which isn't much when you're going 60mph. I couldn't even see the other side of the highway....it was like a sci-fi movie. CoastalWx
I think I should get some type of award for having a really small diurnal temp range. Eh, but what's the difference. With little to no snow OTG or the fact that we'll torch it away...who cares if you're above freezing. Different story when you have a good snowpack.
