snownut
Are these measurments from Clarke County or Hardy County? Hardy County , I did not keep track in Clarke County and really nothing to track except the Jan 4th mini banding squall which was about 2". That one was north of Stephens City (your location?) EastCoast NPZ
Hardy County , I did not keep track in Clarke County and really nothing to track except the Jan 4th mini banding squall which was about 2". That one was north of Stephens City (your location?) OK, that's what I figured, but just wanted to confirm. Indeed most of that squall was a couple miles north of me; although we did get our best snow of the year from it - about .25" of powdery snow that actually stuck to something other than the car top. EastCoast NPZ
I am quite confident that this winter (and I use that term very loosely) is in the books; therefore my final snow total is: Oct 29: 2.0" slop Dec: T Jan 9: .25" Jan 20: .25" Jan 29 - dusting Feb 4 - 5: .5" slop Feb 11: .25" sloppy car-topper Feb 25: .25" grass and elevated surfaces only (winds from hell) Mar 5: dusting from southern super-clipper (congrats again southern VA) Total: Pathetic ..or in US Customary Units: 3.5"
Fozz
So it looks like 6.5" is my total for good, and it's barely a fourth of my average. What a pathetic and forgettable season. In contrast, 2007-08 had about 11".
Coach McGuirk
2" total on the season.

mattie g
Looks like this will be the number. Sad. I actually find it funny when I look back on it. It kind of sucks when you're going through it, but it's easy enough for me to forget all about it once spring fever starts to kick in.
Jebman
I got 3 inches on the season. WORSE than 2001-2002 when I got 4 inches. Global warming is horrific.

North Balti Zen
This thread rules. Mostly for my clearly mounting despair and Hoffman's magical 22 inches of snow.

North Balti Zen
Just bumped the thread for totals for '12/'13 too. Really, between the January 2011 paste bomb and very late March 2013 was as bad at it gets for my part of Baltimore City. That was 26 months between warning level events, and, really, not til following winter that streak broke. Ugly.

I'm pretty certain that no single "event" exceeded .75". At least it wasn't cold this year. Getting a virtual shutout while shivering is even worse.
