It does keep hanging that inverted trough back at the sfc which would allow for a change to snow and maybe an inch or two in the interior at the end. That's been there on the Euro too...that is probably the only hope for getting any snow out of this system unless we see a shift back to the old Euro solution from a couple days ago. The 00z NAM was quite a bit colder at 84h. GFS looks like a rain event for virtually all of New England save the extreme northern Mts near the Canadian border. That's the burning questiin Yes it will likely be a brutal cold rain as the CAD signal has been there...classic 36F and rain. Hopefully we can pull off some snow at the end of it for a white T-day.
