HIPPYVALLEY
22.6F ... and I'm no fan of freezing rain. Glad that part won't last long. Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Pretty to look at the glaze but I'm not a fan. I actually tweaked my hamstring going up the road earlier. Cold up your way - take a little while to scour that out. CoastalWx
The mountaintops will get hurricane force wind gusts but the winds will be a lot lower than the last cutter. I didn't know the winds were that bad up there in the last storm...how bad were they?
DomNH
It's pretty icy here, and I expect that the entire city is going to be a skating rink soon with the heavier batch of precip that's about to move in. Can't believe no freezing rain advisory from BOX.

CoastalWx
Well at least this storm put the hammer down on the weenie hopes of an east trend. If the set up sucks, the outcome will suck.

ski MRG
Seems like, once again the Euro nailed this from 5-6 days out. It bounced around a little but pretty much saw it from a far. Silly GFS. It really does poorly when it comes to stronger systems.

ski MRG
Lesson learned. Not here. I'll always hope for a favorable outcome but in my heart of hearts once the Euro goes bad it's likely to have a sucky outcome.
wokeupthisam
Lesson learned. Should be but won't be. Next time the same setup appears, there'll be plenty of believers in the 'east trend'
Brewbeer
Icy paved surfaces here, about 1/8-1/4 inch on the driveway north of the garage. No ice on the bushes at 9 AM.
HIPPYVALLEY
31.8 now. Icing almost done then I can settle in for hour after hour of cold rain. At least it will polish the pond ice. Judging by the radar I doubt anyone in NNE holds on to snow or sleet for very long. This really blows for Vt ski areas who were off to such a good start.
