Sunday 12/12 Rainstorm OBS

CT Rain

I only looked at BOS, but yeah very impressive for HYA, I just checked it out.

Sometimes MOS can give you hints at a strong wind events. NAMMOS has 26 kts for BOS. That's good for MOS. Even GFSMOS has 21 nots at 00z. I guess we'll see how this goes. Could be wild for MQE.

yeah i like to see MOS up over 20 knots. anytime it's showing a 17 or 18 i'm kinda meh about it.

MQE will probably rip big time.

Just took out the dog.

Steps - very icy

Walkway - icy

Driveway - icy

Road - icy but not too bad

Almost like black ice since it is so thin

I have to bring my son to CCD in Gardner in an hour. Fail

Not too slippery here. The snow we got has kept the ice formation pretty granular. Still will be slick on the roads I imagine for a little while. 31.4/29

You seriously live in another world. You only live like 130m as the crow flies but our landscapes are night and day.:arrowhead:

Elevation, Elevation, Elevation. I suspect our landscapes may be similar after tonight, briefly at least. I'm trying not to get upset by this setback but there is just nothing I detest more than a rainstorm in Winter. BTW just heard the Giants/Vikings game has been moved to tomorrow night.

you guys give him wood everytime you tell him his climate is so different.

this storm is so complex that there are probably a few wrenches thrown in the forecast

first wrench was the CAD building down thru Nc last nite....which should be scoured out shortly (otherwise route 2 will have big issues and North)

elongated LP stretches from 998mb from S-C michigan down to NE tennessee!
