CoastalWx
Gotcha. There's no mention of it really in the AFD as well. The models have a stream of good mid level moisture behind the front in response to frontogenesis in the mid levels. That's usually a sign of some post frontal moisture, but it is just a low prob right now.

HoarfrostHubb
Behind the house, during Irene I could hear them crashing but had enough around here to do. Tons of wood, couple of widow makers though. Did the grounds of the museum suffer much in Irene or the Pumpkin Thumper?

weathafella
I don't know why we look this early. Don't get me wrong...I'm nearly 65 and I do it every year. But in my entire lifetime, the only serious November snow I saw was during my last year in college on Election Day 1968...about 16 inches...upstate NY...and yes that melted also. It always melts fairly quickly prior to 12/15.

ski MRG
Nah run of the mill........ bos +18 bdl+18 pvd+19 orh+18 I took this pic 11/23/10 at the Egremont CC. It was the last round of golf for the season. If I remember correctly there was a strong cold front bearing down. There was so much talk about how warm it was and how the Winter was going to suck, blah, blah , blah. We know how that worked out. The hammer will drop. it's inevitable. There will be much rejoicing. Mr Torchey
If the 18z gfs is correct, the coldest day through hour 360 will be Thursday, thats about as ugly a run as imaginable, nothing just nothing, snow aside, just a downright brutal pattern

New moon incoming, the fact something keeps showing up that time period leads me to believe we see more runs with a coastal B this week.
