snowstormcanuck
12cm as of 515pm here. Temp remains .9 above freezing and the wind hasn't hit yet. A lot of the snow that fell this afternoon was very heavy and wet. Might be looking at serious ice for tomorrow mornings commute. We're talking about Waterloo or are you still near the St. Clair River?

michsnowfreak
Yeah figured you would have a little more....being elevated 60 feet no surprise some snow has blown off of the roof. I'm wondering if they are going to upgrade to a BLIZZARD WARNING....as we are on the cusp of the criteria. have gusts around 30KT and have been holding at 1/4SM for an hour. Actually DTW was a little ahead of me, 5.0 to 4.5.

London snowsquall
Finally -SN and 33. It's only a shower though. Main defo axis is still to my west. But at least I won't have the indignity of not even being able to record a T for the event. No wind yet here in London either, and the snow is finally really starting to accumulate on surfaces. I was looking at some of the MTO cams along the 401 in London this morning. It looked like it was accumulating then.

Yeah, I drove through London today and I was pretty surprised it was mostly rain falling because when I drove through Strathroy it was heavy snow. Funny how it happens like that... Goes to show what happens when snow tries to stick at 32-33 F.

jhamps10
Well I just got home from a family Christmas gathering and all I have to say is the roads are the worst I've seen in a long time, I'm going to take a GUESS of 3" of snow fallen, but it's blowing around so much that some spots have 1" and some spots in my yard have 1' of snow. the roads are drifting like crazy here today. ukrocks
Snow really starting to fall in Louisville Metro. However, we're still only sitting at 3/4 of an inch of snow if I had to judge. I doubt it's add up to one inch. But more bands are forming, still hoping to come away with 2-3 inches. We will see.

I would assume not as high as what the IN shore is getting...they must be getting rocked. GYY isn't even next to the shore.
