Amazing. A grand total of perhaps 1/2" of frozen mashed slush and powder from this storm. Am just now starting to get a bit of light snow after spending 9 hours in the dry slot.

Some nice deform bands near STL, how much have they picked up so far?

Edit: Wow, even Beau is getting in on the action. Talk about spreading it around.

MAJOR edit to my above post. After taking the elevator down and actually stepping outside we are seeing decent flakes mixed with RAIN, bank thermo 35. It's trying hard to SN or SN+ you can tell, but we're smack dab middle of the warm tounge.

Oh my. arrowheadsmiley.png Meanwhile MDW is 23º and mod snow at 8AM.

Mod snow falling now.

Looks like about .5" fell over night. Snow is starting to fill in across NE IL....

Figuring 4-6" which would be a respectable amount.

Note to self: When the GFS shows the low over Chicago inside the 72 hour mark, bag it... that's the track...
