Supercell heading toward Vincennes, IN means business at the moment. NWS Indianapolis may want

to pick up the pace with their weather warning issuances because they appear to be a little surprised by

the speed of which these storms are moving. The city of Indianapolis also may want to pay attention for

congealing storms to their north and also west.

Yeah, the Terre Haute storm wasn't warned untill it was crossing the state line.

I like the Vincennes warning better by Indianapolis. Earlier and much stronger wording. Even if it does not

verify, the folks there have more time to expect a potentially dangerous storm.

WKBW spoke with the Cattaraugus County, NY sheriff and apparently there is considerable structure damage in the Dunkirk and Fredonia areas.

That doesn't surprise me, there were two intense couplets that went right over those areas. I would pass this on to the Upstate NY/PA forum as well.

Now, the real challenge. Would hate to be a warning forecaster in this instance. To upgrade...or not to

upgrade. The storm has a TOR for other CWA, but should it be continued? Tough call, storm does

have a hook, but that does not necessarily mean a tornado will form.

Side note: I'm really, really disliking the line discontinuity over central Indiana.

Another thing is that radar hole across Central Ohio (excluding the Columbus TDWR), that thing could come back to bite if any kind of sig svr outbreak was to strike the GL.

This pic was posted in the WLFI photo gallery. The shot is looking toward the Purdue campus. The strongest part of the couplet passed very near this spot. Can't see anything interesting except for an ominous sky although there was a funnel report near/just west of this area.

Sadly a national meteorologist retweeted it before being alerted it was a fake.

I find the funnel report suspicious with out pics. A densly populated area in the middle of the work day, should turn up an iphone or two around there.

There were like 4 different reports in the area (not all of them are in the LSR). I guess it's possible they were erroneous reports. Still haven't seen anything from the spotter near the mall.

Four reports are a bit more credible. From what I could tell, there was quite a bit of structure some might confuse. That is my concern.
