famartin
Had some flurries back home. Shame. At this point I was hoping they wouldn't even see a flake until January
Parsley
zomg I saw three flakes in the last 20 seconds. Yeah, when I was out walking around the neighborhood around 4pm the flurries were flying.....at first I thought it was ash blowing out of someones fireplace. Also, glad you are keeping track of the trace-flurries in your sig.; I'm too lazy to do so, but its nice for a reference.
hazwoper
Wonder if that energy to wets will hold together to get us some more flurries later tonight.
Thunder Road
Had a pretty good flizzard around 5:30-6:00. Visibility was down below 5 miles for a time.
NaoPos
Wonder if that energy to wets will hold together to get us some more flurries later tonight. Prob some flurries overnight in isolated areas. You can see the mountains doing their usual on the snow showers.

famartin
Well... if you all are bored back east... think of what I'm enjoying out west: We're wrapping up our driest and least snowy December on record here in Elko, with only trace amounts of both precipitation and snow. Only 4 prior Decembers have recorded only a trace of precipitation (1976, 1917, 1902, 1896).

Oh, nearly 40 degrees here already just after 8:30am. Reminds me of an early spring morning.

Thunder Road
So we finish December with a goose egg in the snow column, first time since 2006 according to Mount Holly fb page. I guess 06-07 wasn't that bad...if you like sleet. Somebody should start a new obs thread for the new year...but I won't since I won't use it much anyway. Here's to Indiana being better in Jan and Feb.
