Only 0.13" of rain so far this month......it has been great. I can handle 1 day of rain, no problem.

Also still mild at 55 this morning.

I am shocked that we are not under a flash flood watch at this time. I see us under urban and small stream flood advisory when it starts but for the clogged storm sewers, the advisory might be too late. Anyway, a lot of rain heading our way. Snow is mixed in the northern counties for tomorrow. Going to feel like winter also after the rain today

There is no FFW because we are going to come nowhere near heavy enough rains to cause Flash Flooding. 3,6,12 hour flash flood guidance are all above 3 inches. Plus, the bulk of the rain looks to stay to the SE portions of the area.

spring? more likely next July or August. I have some very muddy areas in the yard as well.

I'm actually looking forward to the ground freezing during the winter.

yeah you are correct, summer since spring always adds more soggy ground for me.

i need to wear my waterproof boots when i need to access the wet ground areas.

me too with the freezing ground!

I hasn't rained much lately. Flash flooding may not be a big concern.

The premodern record from 1867 was 61" of rain. Too bad everyone forgot about that one. :(

That 1/2-3/4" of rain that most of us have had today is just epic flood.
