famartin
I looked around but couldn't find any damage better than blown over trash cans and relatively small branches. Didn't look everywhere of course, and hard to see at night so I might've driven right by something without even knowing it.
Thunder Road
Nor does she know what they are or where to find them This doesn't exactly scream cold and snowy to me. Of course, it is only the first week of January.
phlwx
Yep, reminded me of severe season. Based on the obs, it looked like it was better than severe season has been around here. lol

Animal
I sorta feel bad for all the talking heads that called for a snowy cold winter. Ski Resorts must be taking it to pound town this season I am booking a trip to Jamaica this afternoon and leaving the day after New Years. I am going drink Red Stripe in Negril for 10 days and hopefully come back to new weather pattern No reason to stay around here this winter. I was planning on going later in the season, but I figure odds of missing any event are slim to none at this point.

Grothar
Whoa, new young female met joins nbc10 with Glenn She has been working in the background for Glen. By the way, last nights t- storm was refreshing to see. Best since September. Flooding will occur tonight even though only one- two inches projected. The soil moisture is maxed out. Spring Creek Rd will be under water again in Lower Macungie. I expect a Flood advisory later tonight. Snow flurries or snow showers to whiten the ground on Christmas day? Some are still calling for it. I expect a major game player after January 15, 2012 with below zero temps
hurricaneschwartz
can we get her to join AmericanWx? I'll see to it. There is so much good info on this site (and Weather Discussion page) that is worth looking at. I just introduced her to the Kocin/Uccellini snowstorm book. She has a met degree from Florida State, by the way....a very smart cookie. Glenn

mattinpa
Early Jan. still has potential for a winter storm according to the GFS, but I'm not feeling the 25th/26th storm. Too much has to go exactly right.
