SouthernNJ
Low-topped line of convection is intensifying rapidly. Not low enough to prevent lightning though. Is there a reason why it has expanded upon reaching our CWA? In any case, many folks are going to be caught off-guard by this as it moves through. We just had a pretty good gust here, but definitely not 50 kts. Probably 35 kts max if I had to guess.
LVblizzard
A little more than an hour ago there was a thundershower here with heavy rain, strong winds, and bright lightning. It was cool, but I'd rather see snow.

hazwoper
Ray - here in just NW of TTN it was CRAZY! I would not at all be surprised if we had a gust to 40. It was unreal. Also, my power surged several times.

SouthernNJ
The line is fairly strong in Monmouth county near the shore, was glad to see a Marine Warning issued there. Would be interested to see if any gusts are measured that are similar to the one found in Trenton.

Thunder Road
Kathy Orr just said she thinks that the highs in the 40s next week are a sign of a colder and snowier January and February.
