el bump-o

Friday 12/23 at Chickie & Pete's in Warrington at 7?

I really encourage everyone to come, even if you're not one of the regulars. Maybe if you'll show up you'll become one.

Ugh. Hour and 30 minute drive for me, with no traffic. Getting through Philly at that time will probably add another 20-30 minutes.

i would do this, take ac expwy to nj turnpike north, then get off at the pa turnpike exit and come west till you get to the 611 exit which is the 2nd exit in pa, then its like 15 mins from there. This way you avoid philly.

That makes sense.

Although I agree that 12/23 traffic will be terrible everywhere. We can do 1/7 also. I think that was either #2 or tied for #1?

Just a thought...is there anywhere we could do this that is train accessible for those who are worried about driving and finding parking spots?

That would be a good idea for you guys. Find a place that is near a train station. Consider Center City or even Mt Airy/Chestnut hill as they have two trains that run through the area. There is also Jenkintown and Abington.

You can come too.

I'm sure the Euro will show plenty of sleet for you that night.

If you're doing the city, Hard Rock is a better choice since it's right near Market East.

Personally, would rather suburbs than city even if it's NE Philly or Delco type thing since it's easier to get around.

Well there's a D&B at Franklin Mills too, but that brings us right back around to the mall problem. That and from my memory there tend to be a lot of car break-ins there during the holidays.

just a suggestion and im not sure if their is an age limit on this, but what about the parx casino?

That's actually interesting. Can I go into some of the restaurant parts but not the actual casino? Because that's about 4 minutes from me, so that would be really cool. And easily accessible from 95 and the Turnpike.

Oh yes, and the other thing I forgot to mention is that 1/7 isn't so good anymore (though technically still doable) because I have to head back on the 8th already.

But yeah, apparently there's a Chickie's & Pete's inside Parx, and it doesn't say anything about an age limit, whereas the Parx Grill says no one under 21.
