stormtracker
EXPENSE Reimbursement to Met Tech (Cory) of $815.00 WHY Cory, who is our WRF Tech, purchased hardware parts from newegg.com to build our second WRF Server/node that, when coupled with a donated machine that will serve as the main WRF server, will enable us to run the WRF at a 5KM resolution for the ENTIRE United States instead of only select high density areas. Output will be near NCEP quality. We will have a more detailed write up on this once it is ready for production. Target date is sometime in early to mid December. The purchase was authorized by AmericanWx today and Cory bought the material for the new server this afternoon. ACCOMPANYING DETAILS
Wow
EXPENSE Purchace of IPB License and IP.Chat WHY We have been currently utilizing the license of a fellow member. We felt it necessary to purchase a license under our board name and have a support line with IPB. The borrowed license had an expired support line. The IP.Chat hosting add-on is to replace the tinychat module to allow moderating within chat and have a more seamless usage between chat and forums.
